Ruth is a pluralistic, registered and accredited counsellor. Her core training was in the Person-centred and Experiential approaches and she has further training in Mindfulness based approaches and CBT. She has been working with clients for 12 years and has experience of many varied presentations including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and eating disorders. Ruth worked at a large university for nine years providing educational counselling to students whose emotional problems were impacting on their learning.
She has experience of working with high functioning clients with Asperger’s syndrome and continues to work with young people experiencing emotional and academic difficulties.
Ruth has been providing Mindfulness teaching since 2012 and is trained in offering mindfulness based 1:1 therapy as well as Mindfulness groups.
