Sarah Eva has been supporting peoples emotional wellbeing for over thirty years. She provides counselling to adults and adolescents and is a trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which recognises that our perception of events in our past may have shaped us and results in our emotional and psychological distress. It focuses on how we can change the way we think, feel and behave in the present.
CBT enables individuals to generate healthy and realistic perceptions which, in turn, impacts on the way we feel. This, ultimately, enables us to break unhealthy patterns of destructive behaviour that often lie at the heart of our distress.
