With dedicated facilities throughout the UK for young people with special educational needs (SEN), Priory Education Services provides highly specialised, flexible and innovative services, which help young people to re-engage with education.
From specialist day and residential schools, to further education colleges and semi-independent living, we offer young people aged from 5 to 25 education and care services which deliver positive educational and social outcomes, with seamless access to services as they are needed.
We deliver the highest quality of education and care within a safe, positive and nurturing environment for children and young people.
The range of facilities that the Priory offers ensures that a young person can receive a smooth and planned transition from primary education all the way through to further education, employment and independent living.
Unique services for unique young people-
All young people placed with us have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements, and we know that young people with special educational needs (SEN) are 8 times more likely to be excluded than other children. This is why all Priory schools and colleges work towards zero permanent exclusion; in 2011/12 exclusions of a young person occurred at just three Priory schools.
Priory Education Services are uniquely placed to benefit from the breadth and depth of Priory’s reputable services. We are able to provide seamless links to our mental healthcare hospitals and CAMHS units if required. Our overall aim is to reintegrate our young people back into mainstream school or college, and live as independently as possible in adult life.
Stable placements securing positive futures-
Our proven success in re-engaging young people in education ensures that that they can receive a secure and stable education and care placement. This helps the young person to maximise their potential, so that they are able to live as happily and independently as possible when they reach adulthood.
Our successful educational and social outcomes demonstrate our ongoing commitment to achieving high standards. Our outcomes continue to be monitored in order to maintain excellence in education and care, and promote self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence in our young people. That’s why 84% of 16 year old leavers from all schools continued in education, employment, training or entered into residential care or supported living services, 93% of residential young people took part in clubs or social groups in the community and 98% of young people are engaged in independence programmes.

It’s brilliant here, I really love it and when I came here I had no future, no hope – now I do.
