I aim to provide high quality psychiatric care to everyone that I see. Prior to commencing treatment with a new patient, I carry out a complete assessment. This initial assessment provides me with information about the biological, psychological and social aspects of the patient’s difficulties. My aim in treatment is to find out what each of my patients would like to achieve through treatment and what their aims and expectations are.

In choosing the type of treatment I offer, I aim to combine my understanding of the patient with the most up-to-date, evidence-based practice. I keep abreast of relevant research literature and treatment guidelines, which allows me to offer the most effective treatments. The choice of treatment is also guided by the patient’s values and expectations.

I am one of the UKs leading experts in adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
