It’s suited to people who may need more structure than one-to-one therapy alone can offer, especially if you're looking to learn more about the patterns behind your addiction and develop practical strategies for managing it day-to-day. Elevate 12 is designed for people who need structured addiction treatment but can't step away from work or family responsibilities.
With evening group sessions held online, Elevate 12 is ideal for working professionals, offering flexibility to fit around your life – giving you space to focus on recovery without stepping away from your daily responsibilities, taking career gaps or having to explain absences from work.
In addition to one-to-one and group therapy, clients receive 12 months of free aftercare, free access to our clinically-led digital service, Recovery 360, and access to our online family support programme.
Programme overview: how the pathway works
Elevate 12 combines expert-led group sessions, one-to-one support and proven therapeutic approaches – including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing – to help you take control of your recovery and build a healthier, more balanced life. You’ll learn how to manage cravings, strengthen relationships and make lasting changes, all in a supportive and understanding environment.
The programme runs over 12 weeks, with small evening group sessions held online twice a week, alongside weekly one-to-one sessions with a dedicated Priory therapist. You’ll be supported by professionals and peers who understand what you’re going through.

Recovery 360 is a clinician-led sobriety service, which is delivered digitally.
Combining a Bluetooth-enabled breathalyser with a smart tracking app, a Priory clinician has visibility into your recovery and monitors your results daily.
You will have access to real-time feedback and practical tools within the app to support you through your journey.
- Daily clinical monitoring - a Priory clinician will regularly check your breathalyser results and activity logged on the app (weekdays only)
- Messaging - direct messaging with your Priory clinician via the in-app functionality. You will be directly messaging by a Priory clinician, not an automated or AI system
- Proactive contact – if you are struggling, your clinician will identify this and contact you
- Bluetooth breathalyser – a portable device, which logs your readings and sends real-time updates to your clinician
- Clinical expertise without an inpatient or residential stay
Where is treatment delivered?
Whether you're struggling with alcohol, drugs, or behavioural addictions such as gambling, Elevate 12 is delivered entirely online, giving you the freedom to take part from wherever works best and feels comfortable for you – whether that’s at home, or in a quiet, private space that suits your routine.
Group sessions take place twice a week, from 6.30pm to 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making it easier to fit treatment around work, family and daily life. You'll also have a weekly 1-hour one-to-one therapy session, arranged at a time that works for you and your therapist.
FAQs
Do I need to detox before starting the programme?
If you’re physically dependent on alcohol or drugs and need a medical detox, Elevate 12 might not be the right starting point for you. In these cases, a more intensive level of care is likely to be more appropriate – such as that offered through our Transform 28 or Flourish 14/28/42 services.

How much does Elevate 12 cost?
The full 12-week Elevate programme starts from £4,128. This includes twice-weekly evening group sessions, weekly one-to-one therapy, and 12 months of aftercare once you’ve completed the programme.
Can I combine this with other Priory programmes?
Elevate 12 is designed to work as a standalone programme, but some people may choose to take part in this after completing a more intensive residential stay – such as Transform 28 or Flourish 14/28/42 – if it suits their recovery journey. This isn’t common, as it can be a significant financial commitment, but it is possible.
After completing Elevate 12, you’ll have access to 12 months of free aftercare. If you’d like continued support beyond that, you can also explore our digital service, Recovery 360, or our Anchor 1:1 outpatient therapy sessions. We’ll help you find the right follow-up options when the time comes.
Do you accept insurance?
Many private medical insurance (PMI) providers do cover our addiction treatment services, but what's included can vary depending on your policy. The best thing to do is check with your insurer, or simply give us a call – our team will be happy to help you understand your options.

Is Elevate 12 right for me?
Elevate 12 is designed for people who need more than one-to-one therapy alone, but don't want, or aren't able, to step away from their daily life for residential treatment.
You might be a good fit if:
- You're struggling with alcohol, drugs, or a behavioural addiction such as gambling, gaming, or sex addiction
- You don't currently require a medically assisted detox — or you've already completed one
- You can commit to two evening group sessions per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.30pm to 9pm), held online
- You want a structured, evidence-based programme rather than occasional one-to-one sessions
- You need treatment to fit around work, family, or other responsibilities
- You'd prefer to recover privately, without taking time away from your life
Elevate 12 may not be the right starting point if you currently need medical support to stop safely, for example, if you're heavily dependent on alcohol or certain other substances and are at risk of withdrawal. In that case, a medically assisted detox at one of our hospitals is the right first step, and Elevate 12 can follow once you're medically stable.
Prior to Elevate 12, I didn't have the skills to help me achieve the goal of abstinence and was relapsing on a monthly basis. That has all changed now that I've completed the programme. I feel incredibly well-equipped, from understanding why addiction happens, how to tackle triggers, manage cravings, stay in touch with my emotions and adopt healthy coping strategies. Elevate 12 has changed my life beyond measure, and without a doubt has saved my life. I'm 108 days sober now and feel a strong resolve to stay that way.
