
Barry Williams
Barry Williams is a drama therapist at Life Works who has many years of experience working within both the private and voluntary sector.
Barry's work experience includes working with LGBTQ clients, people recovering from problematic alcohol or substance misuse, mental health issues (depression, personality disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders and obsessive compulsive behaviour (OCD)), dual diagnosis, older clients, loss and bereavement, children and young people, sexuality, gender, sexual health and HIV.
Training
Barry holds a MA in Drama and Movement Therapy (Sesame), a BA (Hons) in Drama from the University of Manchester and a PGDip in Counselling from the University of North London. His professional background prior to training as a dramatherapist was as a therapeutic counsellor.
