About

Beth Tudgay is the addiction therapy lead at Priory Hospital Woodbourne, where she manages a dedicated therapy team delivering a comprehensive addiction treatment programme.

Beth's professional journey began as a healthcare assistant, and through ongoing development and commitment, she has progressed into the current leadership role. The experience has shaped a deep understanding of care and strengthened her belief in compassionate, person-centred practice.

Beth works in a supportive, empathetic and relationship-focused way, recognising that meaningful therapeutic change begins with trust and connection.

She is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Beth views addiction as a complex and multifaceted response to emotional pain, trauma and unmet needs. Beth ensures that her offering of therapy is grounded in understanding, curiosity and respect for each individual's lived experience. She aims to focus on helping people make sense of their relationship with substances or behaviours, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with their values and sense of self.

Her works centres on building strong therapeutic relationships and empowering individuals to recognise their strengths, regain autonomy and move forward with confidence in their recovery journey.
