Daniela Gonzalez

Daniela Avalos Gonzalez has been working for Priory over the last six years as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, as part of multidisciplinary teams with inpatients and outpatients.

She delivers psychotherapy and psychological assessments with adults, adolescents and children, at the Priory Hospital Roehampton.

She works with patients with eating disorders, autism, anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders, along with other emotional challenges in the context of relationships, school, work, and bereavement.

She conducts neuropsychological and personality assessments using gold standard psychometric techniques according to NICE guidelines, and she is also trained in psychodynamic qualitative assessments and formulation.

She is fully registered with the main professional bodies – Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS) since 2012.

I strongly believe the psychological therapeutic role involves a non-judgmental, empathic, respectful and ethical approach to the suffering of the individuals asking for support.

Integrating a number of therapeutic models with a strong foundation in psychodynamic theory and technique, I use person centered and cognitive behavioral approaches according to the particular needs of each individual.

Highly motivated to continue learning, I continue my professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and advances in the field, to ensure my patients receive the best possible care.
