"Debbie was a pleasure to be able to talk to and she allowed me to have the confidence to ‘open up’. She reassured me and helped me feel positive about myself; well worth the sessions which have helped me come to terms with the situation I find myself in." - Former patient

I am an experienced integrative therapist aiming to provide an authentic and safe place for individuals to explore whatever is causing them emotional distress. I offer practice and considered responses, without judgement, and work together with you to find solutions or different perspectives on the perceived reality.

My approach to treatment is primarily ‘person-centred’. My work often explores how we have been ‘socially and emotionally constructed’ through our relationships and environments – exploring any attachment issues and relationship dynamics that may be causing distress.

We would collaboratively explore specific issues that may need new skills to manage a challenge. Issues can include, for example, anxiety, coming to terms with a loss or bereavement, or managing unhelpful coping strategies. Treatment involves leaning on a wide range of evidence-based theories to help individuals feel better equipped in life.
