About

Anna is a Dr of counselling psychology, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She completed both her BSc Psychology (Hons) and DPsych Counselling Psychology at City University in London, qualifying in 2012. She has over 10 years’ experience of providing psychological therapies; working across the NHS, charities, and in the private sector. During this time, she has gained a broad range of experience working with a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, social anxiety, bereavement, eating disorders, addictions, and many more. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She currently works primarily with adults, providing both individual and group therapy.

As well as her therapeutic work, she also has experience working as a clinical supervisor to other psychologists and therapists in various settings, and as a therapy services coordinator at Priory Hospital North London, managing and developing therapeutic services.

Anna provides treatment through a number of different therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, and compassion-focused therapy. Using her experience, Anna tends to assess the needs of the client and collaboratively choose one model or a combination of models that best fits the person’s needs.

Anna believes strongly that all people have the potential to live happy and fulfilled lives, but that sometimes traumas, difficulties, and grief can block their natural abilities to be happy and satisfied. Her passion lies in helping people to process these blocks so that they may feel more at peace with themselves and thrive.
