About
My expertise lies in adult general psychiatry and in particular somatoform disorders and neurodiversity.
I have a special interest in addictions and in the interplay between neurodiversity, addictions and other mental disorders.
I liaise closely with the therapy department at Priory and with individual therapists with whom I have developed long-standing professional bonds.
I run busy outpatient clinics both online and face-to-face at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street and other locations.
Position at Priory
I’ve been a visiting consultant at Priory Hospital Roehampton since 2025, having previously worked at other clinics and in the NHS at the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals.
I also run clinics at number 10 Harley Street, am accredited by the GMC number 321 6772, and I am indemnified by the Medical Protection Society.
Training
My medical training was at Galway University and subsequently at the Charing Cross and Westminster psychiatric training scheme.
I graduated MB BCh BAO in 1986 and MRCPsych in 1992.
