About
Dr Camprubi has practised as a consultant psychiatrist with adults of working age for over 25 years. He has held positions in both NHS and private settings, in the UK and abroad. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and an International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. His clinical interests focus on mood disorders, particularly the practical management of treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and bipolar disorder.

- Dr Camprubi trained in medicine at the Catholic University of Chile
- His psychiatry training was completed at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School, University of London
- He held the position of Jonathan Swift Lecturer in Psychiatry at Trinity College, University of Dublin
- Clinical roles have included working as a consultant psychiatrist and as a specialist registrar in liaison psychiatry at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM)
- He was also part of the assessment team at the National Clinic for Mood Disorders at the Maudsley Hospital
Research interests
Dr Camprubi has research interests in clinical psychopharmacology and the treatment of severe mental illness, particularly affective disorders
He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals
