Dr Pawan Rajpal

Dr Rajpal has been a visiting consultant at Priory Hospital Bristol since 2008. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and specialises in adult ADHD, autism, PTSD, addictions and complex mental health diagnoses.


Dr Rajpal completed his graduate and postgraduate degrees in psychiatry in India. He did his second postgraduate training in the prestigious Guys and St Thames Hospital London, to achieve membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych).

He then followed this with a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Law, from University of Northumbria. He is also trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) and is a NLP coach.

Research interests

Dr Rajpal is a member of Special Interest Group at Royal College of Psychiatrist for Asperger syndrome/autism in able adults and contributes to guidelines, protocols done for all clinical staff in the country practising in this field.

I provide a specialised, high quality, individualised service to my patients.  I have had decades of experience in working with people who struggle due to mental health issues. I deliver evidence-backed interventions to enhance my patient’s life.

I support patients and their families, who are distressed, due to mental health challenges, and request feedback, regularly from all my patients, to change and improve the way I practise.
