I provide excellent quality of care for my patients, with my years of knowledge and experience of working in psychiatry of adults of working age.
I moved on from my continuous NHS employment at various grades in psychiatry since 2001, to the inpatient team at Priory Hospital Bristol, in January 2023. I finished the inpatient role in August 2026.
I continue to undertake second opinions for detained psychiatric patients (SOAD) through the Care Quality Commission. I also undertake medical legal work for civil and immigration cases, through legal instructions.
I have been a visiting consultant psychiatrist since September 2020 at Priory Hospital Bristol, providing assessment and management of mental health disorders in adults of working age.
I do not undertake ADHD, ASC, dementia or brain injury assessments.

Training
Dr Naveen obtained his medical degree (MBBS) in 1997 in India, and moved to England in 1999. He worked in the NHS from Aug 2000 until Jan 2023
Dr Naveen completed his post graduate psychiatric training (MRCPsych) in 2006 and LLM (Master of Laws in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice) in May 2011
Research interests
Dr Naveen has undertaken audits as part of my training and participated in national audits (Royal College of Psychiatrists).
