Dr Ragini Bahry

Dr Ragini Bahry joined Priory Group in 2018 as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at Priory Hospital North London. Before joining Priory, Dr Bahry worked as a community consultant at the North East London NHS Foundation Trust as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for 4 years.

She has strong links to highly qualified therapists at Priory Wellbeing Centres, so she can organise all therapies that might be required to help a young person to recover.

Dr Bahry completed her training and qualified (MRCPsych) as a psychiatrist in 2011. She then decided to do her higher training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Royal London and Great Ormond Street rotation. This gave an opportunity for Dr Bahry to acquire a wide variety of experience in various mental health problems in children and young people. Dr Bahry also worked at specialist neurodevelopmental services at Great Ormond Street and is qualified and trained to undertake complex autism and ADHD assessments.

My aim is to provide the best quality of care to the children and families that I see. I have a wealth of knowledge in assessing various neurodevelopmental conditions like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and Tourette’s syndrome.

I work with complex cases in the community and in an inpatient setting to comprehensively asses and manage various disorders like anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self -harm, psychosis and obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD).
