Dr Sheetal Sirohi
Dr Sirohi works in London and Surrey and currently holds a part time substantive NHS consultant post and works part time in the private sector providing care to patients and support to their families.
Dr Sirohi has tried to facilitate patient engagement through her role with the Royal College Public Education Committee and also by directly participating in initiatives like 'Happy soul festival' for creating awareness of well-being and mental health in the Afrocaribbean and Asian communities. She has also established links with mental health charities such as MIND.
She can provide consultations in English and Hindi.
She trained in London on the St George’s Rotation with South West London and St George’s NHS trust and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
After winning the National Scholarships award in 1997 Dr Sirohi pursued a career in general medicine and then chose to specialise in Psychiatry.
She has been passionate about quality in mental health care and innovation. She has created virtual patients, training films for psychotherapy and risk assessments. She has also contributed to development of a suicide prevention strategy for Surrey and digital safety and awareness (‘Digital risk’) in relation to mental health and impact of internet. Dr Sirohi is also a video presenter for online portals such as 'Brainhub’ – online dementia portal for Harley Street World.

Dr Sirohi continues to present at GP education events and is involved in teaching, training and mentoring psychiatric trainees. She is also involved in research and is a published author.
