She works within the adult general therapy team, and also provides one-to-one therapy for the child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) outpatient service. Following this, she completed a Master’s of Science in Child Adolescent and Family Mental Health (MSc) at London Metropolitan University. She completed her Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of East London in December 2016.

Research Interests

Dr Rajmangal’s doctoral research was on young people’s perspectives of gambling, focusing on how technology has contributed to gambling behaviour/perspectives. Previously she carried out research during training on society’s impact on body image and self-esteem in males.

I am a qualified counselling psychologist with experience working with a range of mental health disorders, including alcohol and substance misuse, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bereavement.

I have delivered therapeutic treatment to adults in individual and group settings. I am also experienced in providing therapy to young people and their families in a range of settings. I consider myself to be an integrative practitioner who draws on models that are appropriate for each client’s individual needs; these include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic and person-centred therapies. I take a holistic approach in understanding each person’s unique experiences and am flexible and collaborative in my practise.
