Dr Gandluru is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist specialising in the assessment and treatment of children and young people aged 6 to 18 years. She works with a broad range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, adjustment disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and tic disorders, including Tourette’s syndrome.
She has been a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist since 2014 and currently works part time with Medway Young People’s Wellbeing Service, part of North East London Foundation Trust, alongside her private practice at Harley Mindcare Psychiatrists Limited.
Dr Gandluru completed her core psychiatry training on the Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ rotation, followed by higher specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry in the West Midlands. She later transferred to the Maudsley training programme, where she gained specialist experience within the national autism and OCD services.
She takes a thoughtful, evidence-based and collaborative approach to care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, young people, families and schools. Her aim is to provide comprehensive, individualised assessments and treatment plans that support both emotional wellbeing and long-term development.
