Gisselle Cuomo-Bridgwater

Giselle is the inpatient lead for Priory Hospital Bristol, for R and R, and she manages five wards.

Gisselle runs her own group session on Friday – ‘keeping calm’, she also runs mindfulness group, supportive psychotherapy, managing emotions, stress management, and relationships and attachments, when required. Her role also entails:

I have over 15 years of clinical experience, including working in psychiatric hospitals in three different countries.

I use a holistic and evidence-based approach that includes: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis (Freud-Klein-Lacan), gestalt theories skill, projectives techniques and Rorschach skills, thematic apperception tests, positive psychology, structuralism and abnormal psychology.
