My experience working with dual diagnosis, addiction, depression and anxiety, along with my integrative training, allows for a multi-therapeutic approach in my work with clients. I am committed to maintaining my academic understanding of addiction and its links to trauma and other mental health diagnosis, and continue to attend professional development training. Since completing my Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling, I have worked for various agencies as part of their substance misuse programme.
Jan McMillan is the Lead Therapist on the Mood Disorder Programme. Jan’s experience of working with dual diagnosis - addiction, depression and anxiety - along with her integrative training, allows for a multi-therapeutic approach in her work with clients.
Jan is a registered member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
She is committed to maintaining her academic understanding of addiction and its links to trauma and other mental health diagnosis attending continued professional development training.
Since completing her Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling Jan has worked for various agencies as part of their substance misuse programme and is a strong advocate for much needed support for clients with mental health issues.
