Josephine Schamp

Josephine is an integrative psychotherapist, supporting clients’ personal development, relationships issues, sexual issues, empowering change, life stages, bereavement, redundancy, separation and/or divorce. Josephine is specialised in trauma psychology (including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)), with extensive experience in supporting clients affected by sexual violence or psychological abuse during childhood or adulthood. Josephine works with couples, individuals and groups. Depending on client preferences, psychodynamic counselling, somatic experiencing (SE), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) and aspects of trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) can be integrated to best support a person’s individual needs.

Josephine is Senior Accredited with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and a qualified Member of EMDR Association UK & Ireland.
