About
Kate is an integrative therapist who worked in private practice for four years before joining Priory in November 2025.
Kate has experience working with a wide range of presenting issues, including single event and complex traumas, anxiety and depression, bereavement, addiction and self-medication, low self-esteem, guilt and shame, sex and relationship issues, and difficulties with identity, sexuality and gender.
Kate’s integrative approach means that she has training in multiple therapeutic modalities, blending these to tailor the therapy she offers to the differing needs of her clients. Her approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, and trauma-informed ways of working such as internal family systems therapy. Her work with addiction, centres around this trauma-informed perspective.
Kate meets her clients with respect and curiosity to help them foster a deeper understanding of their thought patterns, behaviours, motivations and values. This can lead to a greater sense of agency in life, and positive change.
