Katrina is a dedicated adult, child and adolescent therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, complex emotional difficulties and safeguarding concerns.
Her work to date has focused on creating safe, developmentally-appropriate therapeutic spaces where adults, children and young people can explore their experiences, build resilience and develop healthier coping strategies.
Katrina is particularly experienced and committed to trauma-informed, client-centred practice that recognises the impact of attachment, adversity and systemic influences on emotional wellbeing.
Through her clinical roles, including working within specialist complex trauma and sexual violence services, she has developed strong skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and collaborative care planning.
Katrina has proven skills working confidently with individuals presenting with complex needs such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma responses and relational difficulties. She understands the importance of maintaining clear professional boundaries while offering warmth, consistency and psychological safety within the therapeutic relationship.
