Kevin Tait



I have been working at Priory for over five years, beginning as a healthcare assistant at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal. This is where I developed my specialist interest in personality disorders. Since then, I have worked at both Priory Hospital Altrincham and Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester as a therapist.


  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (2021) with Access to Psychological Therapies.
  • Compassion Focused Therapy with Compassionate Minds Foundation (2022).
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy for Adults and Adolescents with British Isles and Behavioural Tech (2020- present).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies from University of Salford (2019).

A highly experienced therapist, with core training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), with additional training in compassion focused therapy (CFT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Kevin has gone on to complete training in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and treats clients on an individual and group basis. Kevin aims to provide validation of people’s unique difficulties, and focuses on behavioural change as the mechanism for improving people’s lives and distress.
