Lesley Davies
B.A.C.P Senior Accredited Counsellor
Lesley Davies

Lesley Davies

In the past nine years Lesley has worked at Priory Hospital Woking as a Therapist working with individuals and groups delivering Psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Lesley has also presented mental health education to corporate companies and supported individuals and corporate organisations in debriefing those who have experienced critical incidents in the workplace on behalf of Priory and other well- known organisations.

This has given Lesley the experience of working with people who have an extensive range of issues and complex mental health problems.

Training

As an Adoption Counsellor Lesley is registered with Ofsted to work with people who have issues around adoption.

I have over 18 years’ experience in working as a Counsellor/Therapist in Surrey, working with children aged 12 -18, adults, couples and groups.

I have worked for the NHS as a Specialist Brief Intervention Counsellor in GP Surgeries in the Guildford, Woking and Surrey Heath areas and also as a School’s Counsellor.

I am an experienced Workplace Counsellor who works with Occupational Health Companies to support employees to return to work, promote corporate wellbeing and deal with issues such as work/life balance, stress burn out and redundancy. I often work onsite at Global Organisations to support employees in their workplace.

As a Workplace Mediator, I help to resolve disputes and grievances.

My approach is integrative and I tailor my style to the needs of my individual patients.
