About
Lydia is a dedicated cognitive behavioural therapist who has experience working in a range of mental health settings, both within the NHS and private sector. She has worked with a range of low mood and anxiety disorders, spanning from low to high complexity and holds additional professional training in long-term conditions and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Lydia believes that one of our most powerful tools for growth and wellbeing is self-awareness. She endeavours to strengthen this by supporting individuals to explore, identify, challenge and replace unhelpful thoughts and behavioural patterns that can impede happiness day-to-day.
Lydia leads with a compassionate, warm, honest and non-judgemental approach to therapy. She understands that each individual has a unique set of experiences, circumstances and needs. As such, she tailors therapeutic treatment to the specific goals and requirements of an individual to create a personalised experience that nurtures a sense of wellbeing and empowers individuals to reach their potential.
