Mariya is passionate about advancing mental health, prevention and wellbeing through evidence-based therapies, while applying a holistic approach to empower individuals in their wider life contexts.
Mariya uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to overcome a range of difficulties, including trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, low self-esteem, social anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, worry, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), sleep problems, health anxiety and mood difficulties in the context of long-term health conditions.

Mariya is an accredited CBT therapist registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Membership number: 1029109
Mariya has extensive experience working across a variety of settings, including the NHS and the charity sector, supporting individuals with a range of complex mental health difficulties, including neurodivergent clients.
Mariya recently joined Priory and works as a CBT therapist in the Cedar therapy adult team. She offers one-to-one and group therapy.
