About
Mark is an integrative therapist. This means he is able draw on a wide range of approaches, based on what patients bring to therapy and what suits them as an individual. This can include:
- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to work with unhelpful thinking and perceptions
- Solution-focused therapy to help patients discover their own solutions and goals
- Transactional analysis (TA) to help with self-perceptions and relationships with others
- Interpersonal osychotherapy (IPT) to appreciate the impact our relationships have on our lives, and how to improve them
This range of knowledge, combined with genuine care and consideration for whoever Mark is working with, helps him build a strong relationship within a safe space, which is invaluable for therapeutic change.
Mark joined Priory in November 2023. He is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
