About

Natasha is an integrative therapist providing remote therapy sessions. She has worked with Priory since 2017 and is an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

Your preferences and the type of therapy you want matter. I will work collaboratively to identify your expectations and co-create a therapeutic experience that works for you. As an integrative therapist Natasha uses the ‘core self’ model, a humanistic/person-centred approach, alongside which she integrates ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), mindfulness and aspects of CFT (compassion-focused therapy).

Therapy sessions are a place to process and make sense of the stories of your life, as well as an opportunity to learn new skills and increase psychological flexibility which, as Stephen Hayes (founder of ACT therapy) states - it gives you the ‘ability to move your life in directions that are important to you, building habits that allow you to live life in accordance with your values and aspirations’

Training

Prior to working at Priory, Natasha worked with clients at Network Counselling in Bristol.

Natasha became an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) in 2021 after graduating from her BACP accredited diploma in integrative counselling in 2017, with the Network Counselling and Training, Bristol.

Further to completing a certificate in counselling in 2014 she has since completed a certificate in ‘third wave CBT’ via SDS training.

More recently, Natasha has consolidated her interest in ACT by completing an ACT immersion course (Stephen Hayes via 'Praxis') in 2023 and supported her move to remote working in 2020 with a certificate in online and telephone counselling (counselling tutor).

Natasha is currently training to become an applied EFT (emotional freedom technique) practitioner, in order to further enhance the toolkit of skills she offers to clients.

Natasha retrained as a therapist after a career in publishing.

I am an integrative therapist using the ‘core self’ model, a humanistic/person-centred approach. I work with a range of issues and have a particular interest in life transitions. I incorporate insights from a range of theoretical models, including: third wave cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transactional analysis, and transition theory. I work alongside my clients in a mutual stance, seeking to facilitate their self-exploration and enable them to move towards integration and wholeness in a non-directive way.
