David completed his training at the Royal Free and the Maudsley teaching rotations. He is now a visiting professor in cognitive behaviour therapies (CBT) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. I have a reputation internationally for my experience in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders (e.g. body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), and health anxiety), which are my main specialisms, as well as for treating other anxiety disorders (e.g. specific phobia of vomiting and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)). I also have a special interest in non-pharmacological treatments for depression that are evidence-based. I see patients with addictions and eating disorders in the context of OCD or an anxiety disorder. My aim is to have a good understanding of your problem and to collaboratively deliver a treatment plan.
