Rebecca Matthews
Rebecca Matthews recently joined the telephone assessment team as a therapist and previously worked as a therapeutic care assistant on a DBT-based female personality disorder ward at Cheadle Royal.
Training
Rebecca graduated in Psychology in 2012 and then continued her studies at Manchester University specialising in Counselling Skills. In 2017 Rebecca completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Rebecca is a registered member of the BACP and proactively continues her personal development with further training and supervision.
Since qualifying in 2017, Rebecca has worked both privately and voluntarily with clients presenting with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, work-related stress, personality disorders and bereavement.
Rebecca has an interest in working with attachment disorders and has completed CPD training in Inner Child Therapy and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
