About
Richard is a professionally trained and accredited cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner, specialising in the treatment of depression, trauma and anxiety disorders. He is committed to providing a confidential, compassionate and structured therapeutic environment where clients can explore and address their psychological difficulties.
Through the use of evidence-based approaches, Richard supports individuals in understanding the underlying causes of their distress, developing effective coping strategies, and facilitating meaningful, long-term change. His practice is grounded in clinical expertise and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, with the aim of promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience and recovery.
Position at Priory
Richard is a CBT therapist and EMDR practitioner who has recently joined the team at Priory. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based support in line with service guidelines and best practice. With a client-centred approach, he is committed to working collaboratively with service users to address their individual needs and support their journey towards improved mental health and wellbeing.
