Sally Picton re-joined Priory as a Psychotherapist in the new outpatient service in Bristol in 2020. She worked at Priory Hospital Bristol for many years, both as an administrator and a therapist prior to 2013.

Sally delivers counselling and psychotherapy to outpatients on a one to one basis for long term and short term sessions.

Training

  • Sally completed a post-graduate diploma at the University of Wales. Her training comprised of person-centred cognitive behavioural therapy. Since qualifying Sally has widened her experience through training and development to integrate the other types of therapy.
  • Sally also completed a further post graduate certificate in evidence based practice at the University of Exeter in 2015.

I am a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist. In both my work and private life, I strive to be a compassionate, hardworking, and reliable individual.  As a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I adhere closely to their guidelines for moral and ethical practice in all my work. I use evidence-based practice and draw on a range of interventions to help people resolve issues and reach their potential.
