Samantha Tait

Samantha Tait has 17 years of experience working in forensic and mental health settings. She is experienced in helping people with mental illness and/or personality disorders as well as other co-morbid difficulties including substance use, affective disorders and cognitive impairment. She has significant experience in therapies for substance use, psychosis, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including complex PTSD. She is a qualified dialectical behaviour therapist and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.

Samantha specialises in working with trauma and supporting people in processing what has happened to them and moving forward towards a brighter future where they can feel safe and content. She will offer evidence-based treatment that is tailored to individual needs and delivered in a style and at a pace that is comfortable for the client. She offers online therapy and aims to create a safe forum in which the client can explore their difficulties and make sense of what has happened to them. She will develop a treatment plan with the client which will allow them to work through their blocks and experience the things that they want to in life.
