About
Sanchita is an experienced cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) with a background in neuroscience, which deeply informs her work in helping clients navigate complex trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergence. Her approach is built on a ‘brain-body’ connection; by combining clinical expertise with an understanding of neurobiology, she offers a comprehensive space for healing – especially for those navigating persistent emotional blocks or seeking neuroaffirmative care for ADHD, autism, or EUPD.
She specialises in protocol and process-based CBT alongside eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR). She also leans into third-wave approaches like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and functional analytic psychotherapy (FAP) to ensure the work is as flexible as it is evidence-based. This allows her to customise support for a wide range of needs, including generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the complexities of grief, lifelong illness, or interpersonal challenges. Her practice is firmly rooted in inclusivity, and she is committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
Therapy with Sanchita is warm, personable, and truly collaborative. She believes in bringing the client into the room and often enjoys incorporating their personal interests – such as music, arts, or movement. Her goal is to a provide safe, comforting environment where clients can show up as their authentic selves and feel their experiences are both understood and deeply validated.
