Sara Turner joined Priory Wellbeing Centre in Oxford at the end of 2016. She is a fully accredited member of United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor, subscribing to UKCP (Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA)) published code of ethics.

Training

Sara graduated from the Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Psychoanalytic Infant Observational Studies, at the Tavistock Clinic London/Birmingham Trust for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, in 2008. She then continued clinical training alongside her Master of Studies in Psychodynamic Practice at Oxford University, graduating in 2012.

Sara has significant NHS experience working for psychological services with adults (in Oxford) and with adolescents in school settings (in Birmingham), offering both long and short-term work with individuals who have varying difficulties, which may be long-endured and complicated.

Her work has also included seven years’ experience with individuals, parents, and groups in children’s centres and early intervention services.
