Sarah-Jane Otoo

Sarah-Jane Otoo

Sarah-Jane Otoo joined the specialist private ward, the Manor, at Priory Hospital Woodbourne, in August 2017. Since joining the team she has provided individual and group psychotherapy as well as psycho-educational workshops to patients with general psychiatric needs.

In December 2017, Sarah-Jane became a part of the process of developing and implementing the Addictions Treatment Programme at the Manor. She utilised the principles of the 12-Step Programme, psychotherapy groups and psycho-educational groups when working with addiction. She is passionate about recovery and work to help patients to enjoy a life in recovery by supporting them to completely abstain from drugs, alcohol and any other addictive behaviours that can negatively impact individuals’ lives.

Sarah-Jane now works at Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham, where she provides individual outpatient psychotherapy. She also offers psychosexual and relationship therapy to individuals and couples at the centre.

Sarah-Jane graduated from Staffordshire University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree. She then began her training in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2012, and graduated with a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2019. Sarah-Jane holds a keen interest in psychosexual disorders, relationships, couples and sex therapy and is specialising in this field. In 2018, she began her Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy at the London Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy Training Centre.
