
Sarah Roberts
Sarah Roberts joined The Priory Group in 2019 as a Specialist Dietitian working at the oxford well-being centre on a sessional basis. Sarah also works within CAMHS NHS services as a senior specialist eating disorder dietitian. Sarah has been worked within mental health services for the past 10 years both with inpatients and within the community.
Sarah is also actively involved in the British Dietetic association mental health group and the chair of the Dietitians working with Autism specialist group. She has undertaken assessment and SOS treatment approach training and provides clinical support and supervision to other dietitians working within the field of mental health dietetics.
Sarah Roberts has been running her own private clinics alongside her other responsibilities since 2017. She sees patients requiring nutritional assessment and dietetic support and specialises in:
- Eating Disorders
- Disordered eating
- Weight Management
- Avoidant and restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
- Sports and eating disorders
Training
Sarah graduated from The University Wales in 1997 with a BSc Hons in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
She has worked in many dietetic specialties such as Gastroenterology and Cystic Fibrosis before specialising in Mental health in 2008 working at the Aspen Centre in Warwick, then St Andrews healthcare and currently Forward-Thinking Birmingham part of Birmingham children’s hospital NHS trust. She has trained with the Maudsley hospital in family based treatment for Eating disorders
Sarah has recently completed S.O.S feeding training and is currently undertaking a diploma in systemic family therapy.
