Sean is a warm, grounded and trauma-informed therapist specialising in addiction and recovery, with experience supporting clients through complex emotional and psychological challenges in both residential and outpatient settings. Alongside facilitating therapeutic group work, Sean provides one-to-one counselling for clients navigating addiction, trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties and relational issues. He also has experience of and a passion for couples counselling, working extensively with attachment theory and exploring relational dynamics through the lens of psychodynamic theory.
Sean’s approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing on person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic modalities to support lasting change. He has extensive experience working with complex trauma and understand the importance of creating a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients feel heard and supported.
