Research interests

How the language and attitudes of addiction reported and represented  in popular culture and the media can differ cross society and therefore effect those seeking treatment and recovery.

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist, and am currently completing my Master of Science (MSc) in Addiction Psychology and Counselling at London South Bank University. Although I work primarily on the addiction and eating disorder programmes at Life Works, due to my past experience as a high end visual artist in the music and advertising sector, I am also responsible for the design and implementation of the art-based groups within the programme.

I work both intuitively and with an integrated approach, using not only a variety of different therapeutic models, but also looking at how psychology, biology and social attitudes can affect an individuals seeking treatment for addiction.
