About
As a therapist, I strive to offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their struggles and begin the process of healing. I bring a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health and eating disorders, as well as a genuine commitment to walking alongside each person in their unique journey toward recovery.
With a background in psychology and specialist training in evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), I work collaboratively with clients to help them make sense of their experiences, develop healthier coping strategies and reconnect with what matters most to them.
What I bring to the therapeutic space is not only clinical knowledge but empathy, patience and respect for each person’s story. I recognise how difficult it can be to reach out for support, especially when dealing with issues as personal as their mental health and/or eating disorders, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel truly heard, understood and empowered.
Whether someone is just beginning to explore their difficulties or is further along in their recovery journey, I tailor my approach to meet them where they are - supporting them to build resilience, restore a sense of self and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
