Taline Al-Jawad
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
TALINE AL JAWAD 360X246

Taline Al-Jawad

Taline is a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist specialising in treatment for children and adolescents aged 11 years and above. She has been practicing at Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford since November 2017. Prior to this she practiced at Priory Hospital North London for five years, treating Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) inpatients and outpatients who have complex mental health difficulties, both individually and in group settings.

Training

Taline studied cognitive behavioural psychotherapy at Buckinghamshire New University and trained as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist at Priory Hospital North London’s CAMHS Tier 4 inpatient unit, as well as CAMHS and adult outpatient clinics.

During her training at Priory Hospital North London, Taline also facilitated a number of psychotherapeutic groups. Alongside her training at Priory, Taline also trained at the Aldershot Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.

Taline graduated as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist in 2013 and is fully accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I provide cognitive behavioural psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults who are struggling in their day-to-day lives, due to mental health difficulties.

My approach is warm and non-judgemental. Central to my approach is developing a therapeutic relationship with the individual, from where we can begin to explore difficulties and work together using an individualised, evidence-based, and solution-focused method.

Specialising in treating children and adolescents with mental health difficulties, I also offer parents a space to discuss how they can best manage their children’s struggles.
