About
Tanya is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered art psychotherapist, who has a Master’s Degree from Leeds University. Tanya works from both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches.
She has past experience working within child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), working with trauma, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and children within social services (looked after children), managing abandonment/attachment issues.
Tanya has experience with a variety of adult acute mental health issues such as trauma, grief/loss, survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and understanding and managing anxiety and depression.
She is also trained in a number of complementary techniques, to provide her clients with a range of tools to help them make sense of their difficulties and then for us to work together in overcoming their distress.

Tanya has been working with Priory for 4 years, as a sessional therapist.
