Ute joined Priory in late 2020 as an Integrative Therapist. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is working towards accreditation.

Training

Ute graduated from the University of Southampton having completed her BA Hons in Psychology in 2004. She went on to complete her basic counselling training in 2006, followed by a yearlong Foundation Certificate in Transactional Analysis. In 2019, she completed a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling at the University of Plymouth as well as a post qualifying Diploma in Eating Disorders at the Iron Mill Institute in Exeter.

Ute has additional training in working with sexual abuse and trauma within her work in a charity setting, supporting survivors. She also holds additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
