Located in Surrey, Life Works is a renowned private treatment centre, providing high quality, specialist support for eating disorders. As well as expert residential eating disorder treatment, we are also able to offer outpatient and day care support.
Residential support
Our inpatient eating disorder treatment programme usually lasts for between 28 and 42 days, although this can be longer if needed. We deliver therapy in various formats, including individual, group and family therapy. Other therapeutic interventions include CBT informed groups, DBT informed groups, art informed therapy and mindfulness.
If you’ve already undertaken inpatient treatment, our day care and outpatient programmes are a valuable step-down option for ongoing support. In other cases, they can also serve as an entry point to more intensive treatment.

Our approch to treatment
Every patient will be under the care of a highly qualified multidisciplinary team, with extensive experience in eating disorders. Our treatment centres are able to offer a range of treatment options, all of which are individually tailored to our clients’ unique needs and requirements. These include:
- Evidence-based eating disorder interventions, delivered in a number of different formats including 1:1 therapy, group therapy and family therapy
