- Speak to a trained adviser today, in confidence.
Exam stress can take a real toll on your mental wellbeing, affecting everything from your sleep and concentration to your motivation and confidence. It can leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and as though you're facing things alone.
At Priory, we understand the pressures that come with academic life. That’s why we’ve developed a programme of CBT-informed exam stress workshops, designed to help you manage difficult emotions, improve your coping skills, and build long-term resilience during exam periods and beyond.
Our 2-week programme has been developed for students aged 18+, who are currently struggling with exam stress and looking to improve their mental health and ability to cope with pressure.
The workshops are delivered online via Zoom, making them accessible from wherever you are. They’re designed around proven cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques, helping you to reframe negative thoughts, manage stress and develop healthier habits in response to exam pressure.
Before the group sessions begin, you’ll have a 30-minute one-to-one consultation with a Priory therapist to explore your goals and get the most from the programme.
Our workshops begin on 1 May and take place over 2 weeks, with two 1-hour group sessions each week. Sessions take place on weekdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, giving you the flexibility to join around your studies. Each session is led by one of Priory’s qualified therapists and is structured around key exam stress topics:
Please note, our workshops are not suitable for people experiencing severe psychiatric illness, active suicidal thoughts or significant substance misuse. If this applies to you, please get in touch so we can recommend alternative support.
Our exam stress workshops offer a safe and supportive space where you can share your experiences and learn practical strategies to manage stress. You’ll benefit from:
Sharing your experiences with others can make a big difference. Many participants find strength in hearing that they’re not alone, and discover practical tips by listening to other people’s stories. While it’s normal to feel unsure about group therapy, we’ll help you ease in gradually, build trust and feel part of a safe, understanding group environment.
Our highly trained therapists have extensive experience in supporting young adults with stress and anxiety. They’re passionate about helping students manage the emotional impact of exams and improve their quality of life.
Through compassionate, evidence-based support, they’ll help you explore your challenges and give you practical tools to take control of your stress, both now and in the future.
Whether you’re in the middle of your exams or preparing ahead of time, our exam stress workshops are here to help you feel more in control. With expert guidance and peer support, you can improve your wellbeing and approach your studies with greater confidence.
The full 2-week programme, including the one-to-one consultation and four group sessions, costs £195. This is a self-pay service only. Please call us today or fill out the form below to enquire.
