Mental health challenges can affect the way you think, feel and behave. For some people, these feelings go away naturally but for others, these negative emotions can become worse over time. However, mental health conditions are treatable and it’s possible for you to make a full recovery – the most important step is to get help.
At Priory, we offer two options to determine the best treatment route for you. These are:
Our digital assessment for adults starts with an online questionnaire powered by beeseen.
The online questionnaire allows you to share information about your mental health status with healthcare professionals. It combines multiple choice clinical questions with free text responses, to describe things in your own words, enabling you to share your experiences in a structured way with our team.
After you complete the questionnaire, a senior clinician will review your responses within 48 hours and recommend a suitable treatment pathway.
Please note, this pathway does not include a written report. We do not exclude anyone with a learning disability, including Down’s syndrome; however, the questionnaire requires the ability to read and write in English and to understand the questions. If you are concerned about your mental health or feel a diagnosis may be needed, we recommend booking a Mental Health Assessment with one of our Consultants.

We offer private mental health assessments for adults, that provide quick access to an experienced mental health professional.
During this assessment, we’ll explore your specific concerns, helping you gain a clearer understanding of your mental health and guiding you towards the most suitable treatment options. This approach allows eligible clients to receive tailored support without delay.
The session won’t provide a diagnosis or treatment for your mental health concerns. Rather, it will allow us to develop an understanding of the challenges you’re currently facing, and provide a recommendation for next steps based on what’s right for you. This could include direct access to talking therapy and counselling, including psychological therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), that can be delivered face-to-face or online.
Our assessments are delivered virtually or face-to-face at a time that suits you.
From your assessment, you can expect:

In addition, we also offer mental health assessments for children and young people.
Our young people’s assessments provide a safe, supportive space for children and adolescents to explore the difficulties they’re experiencing and take the first step towards better wellbeing.
Delivered as part of our specialist young people’s services (also known as CAMHS or CYPMHS), these assessments help us understand your child’s needs and recommend the most appropriate next steps for their care.
Our digital assessment starts with an online questionnaire, powered by beseen, designed specifically for children and young people aged 4–17, with input from parents or carers.
This structured assessment allows young people and their families to share detailed information about their mental health with our clinical team – combining validated questions with space to describe experiences in their own words.
Children and young people are gently guided through different areas of their mental health and wellbeing. Sensitive topics are introduced carefully, with some sections optional – allowing them to share only what they feel comfortable with.
