Situated in the affluent borough of Richmond, in London’s South West, Priory Hospital Roehampton's CAMHS provision Richmond Court delivers specialist inpatient treatment for young people who are experiencing mental health problems.
At Richmond Court, we are able to provide evidence-based support for young people from the age of 12 to 17, in an age-appropriate environment. Our CAMHS inpatient service is situated in a newly refurbished area of the hospital and comprises six single occupancy bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, along with welcoming and comfortable living areas.
The service has been specifically designed for young people in London who may be exhibiting symptoms of mental health difficulties such as:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- School phobia
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Psychosis
- Self-harm
- Emotional difficulties relating to family life
- Emotional difficulties as a result of bullying

We are able to treat our young patients using a broad range of established therapeutic techniques. The mental health therapy that is delivered to each young person in our care is personalised according to their unique condition, needs and requirements, as part of their treatment experience.

We also offer a number of wellbeing activities including:
- Pets as therapy (PAT)
- Yoga
- Relaxation techniques
- Gym sessions in our on-site gym
- Visiting workshops which focus on different topics, such as music
- Outreach activities including theatre trips, visits to local parks as well as access to other sites of interest within the nation’s capital
