Service overview

Our expert treatment team at Oxford possess a wealth of clinical expertise in the treatment of mental health concerns, as well as extensive experience in using a broad range of therapeutic interventions; we are committed to empowering you to tackle your mental health difficulties and return to a healthy and fulfilling way of life.

All of our outpatient treatment is personalised according to your individual needs, which allows us to deliver the best treatment for your unique concerns, produce a lasting, sustainable recovery and result in the most positive outcomes for you personally. If it is deemed that more intensive or specialist support is required, we have close clinical links with Priory hospitals Woking, Woodbourne and Bristol, meaning that we are also able to facilitate a seamless transition to comprehensive inpatient care, if this is required.

We are based on the top floor of a bright and airy building providing privacy and comfort to each and every one of our patients, and with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need.

Dedicated mental health care

It is important to recognise that mental health conditions are treatable, and you don’t have to struggle on your own. The most crucial first step towards regaining control of your life and improving your wellbeing is to seek help from trusted mental health experts. Unfortunately, without timely, professional treatment, mental health challenges may become progressively more destructive over time, and continue to have an increasingly negative effect on your psychological, emotional and physical health.

At Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford, our experts are committed to delivering tried and tested outpatient treatment, within a highly therapeutic and compassionate environment, helping you to overcome your mental health difficulties, and return to a healthy and fulfilling way of life.

Quality and regulation

Our patients can be assured that the treatment that they receive at Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford is of the highest standards, due to continuous monitoring by our independent regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

“Our daughter was finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the challenges of her condition (Asperger syndrome) and the massive social pressures of being a teenage girl… she started to harm herself. Like any parent, my wife and I were beside ourselves with worry.

“Securing an appointment and then meeting Dr Hayley van Zwanenberg was a major turning point in the health of our daughter. We will therefore always be grateful to the Oxford Priory Wellbeing Clinic team for helping our daughter to take the initial steps towards good health and happiness.”
