About this location
Priory Falkland Road is a supported living service in the east of Hull. We support males and females aged 18 to 65 who have a primary need of a learning disability, physical disability, or an autism diagnosis. The property is designed to help residents live as independently as possible while receiving tailored support.
The service can also support people with:

About our service
Our facilities and environment
The 12 apartments provide a safe and comfortable environment. Facilities include:
- Spacious apartments with a living area, open plan kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom with either a wet room, shower or bath
- A secure and private rear garden
Our team
Our dedicated and experienced staff team will include:
- A positive behaviour support (PBS) practitioner
- Staff trained in PBS and autism awareness
- 24-hour background staffing, including waking night staff
Parking
The property includes on-site parking for residents, staff, and visitors, as well as a bike rack.
Our approach to support
Each person living at Falkland Road has a person-centred care plan co-produced with input from the individual, their family, and professionals involved in their care. We aim to help everyone make their own choices about the support they receive. This may include areas such as community access. We ensure the REACH standards are embedded in our practice.
Our support approaches include:
- Positive behaviour support (PBS)
- Personal goal planning
- Life skills development, such as meal preparation and managing personal hygiene
- Community access and travel training
- Access to therapeutic and planned interventions
We also use tools such as the Outcomes Star™ to support residents in achieving their goals.

How does home leave work?
We facilitate home visits and leave with the resident’s consent
Can friends and families visit?
Yes, visits are encouraged. We recommend advance notice to minimise disruption to other residents
How are care plans developed?
Care plans are co-produced with residents, families, and support networks to ensure tailored support
What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the property
What are the fees and funding options?
Fees vary based on individual assessments. Many residents are eligible for financial assistance through local authorities. Priory works with referrers to create bespoke care packages
What activities are available?
Residents have personalised activity plans and are encouraged to take part in meaningful activities on-site and in the community. Group sessions, such as CV building and budgeting workshops, are also available
How are behavioural needs supported?
Our PBS practitioner develops bespoke support plans. Staff are trained in strategies such as PROACT-SCIPr-UK® to ensure the least restrictive practice
